You Should Ask The Question Your Son

How do you grow closer with your son? How well do you know your little ones? For an intriguing and often entertaining insight into how your children see the world.

Children are, let’s face it, a mystery – and what’s going on in their little heads is often as baffling as it is hilarious. But if the role of a parent is to try to bring them up to be as well-rounded and responsible as possible, then it helps to at least try to make sense of how they see the world.

Asking open-ended questions is a brilliant way to find out what they’re thinking and get to know and bond with your children. Plus, it can spark some entertaining conversations and keep the squabbling at bay around the dinner table.

1. Who's your best friend?
2. What football team do you support?
3. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?
4. What are the five best things about being you?
5. If you had three wishes, what would they be?

7. What was the worst day of your life and why?
8. If you could time-travel, where and when would you go?
9. If you could pick one meal for me to make you, what would it be?
